UKULELE BOOTCAMP FOR BEGINNERS (LEVEL 1 & 2)
What could be more fun than learning how to play ukulele in the relaxing environment of a pub? How about a great date night or evening out with friends? What about a fun and interactive parent + tween/teen activity?
Adult Beginner Levels 1 and 2 are each four-week sessions that will take you through the basics of strumming chords and making music. You’ll have 5-7 songs under your belt by the end of each session. These classes run 2-3 times each year. Youth aged 11 – 13 are welcome to sign up for this class along with a registered adult, as well.
Location: Fionn MacCool’s Pub at Stone Road and Edinburgh (Guelph). Pre-registration required. *Must bring your own ukulele. You may purchase beverages and snacks while we play but please drink responsibly.

Have you already taken the Beginner classes but want more? Or do you already have some basic ukulele understanding but want to learn some more songs?
Kick It Ups will help you build skills and repertoire over 4 weeks and you’ll walk away with 5-7 songs to have in your repertoire. Kick It Up classes may be offered a few times throughout the year and each time will be different so you can sign up for any of them and they’ll always offer you something new.
It’s a great way to keep working on your playing, add to your personal songbook, plus get out to make some music in a relaxed atmosphere!

GOOD MORNING UKULELE CLASS
New this May, an 8-week weekday morning class that’s perfect for retirees, shift workers, stay-at-home parents, and anyone else who would like to learn in a small group setting on a weekday morning!
This 45-minute class runs Thursday mornings from 9:30am – 10:15am and participants will get to enjoy learning songs, building skills and having fun in a small group environment. Spaces are limited so register here today to get your spot!
Date: Thursdays from May 3 – June 28 (no class June 7)
Time: 9:30am – 10:15am
Fee: $165 includes the 45-minute classes and all materials/resources. Must bring your own ukulele.
The Royal City Ukulele Ensemble program runs over approximately 10 months (September through June) during which you’ll learn a range of repertoire and develop musical skills as part of an adult ukulele group.
