Workshops

The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake.

Workshops are a great way to focus your learning on a specific skill, concept or theme and are offered throughout the year online (see below) and around Guelph, as well as at ‘ukulele festivals and events. Subscribe to the monthly email and follow along on our social media accounts (see bottom) to be sure to hear about upcoming workshops and classes. Any upcoming workshops are listed below. Let’s make music!

If you’re interested in hiring Cynthia to teach at your event, please get in touch for a full list of workshops she currently offers.

Sun and Moon Songs Workshop

In anticipation of the eclipse on April 8th, let’s learn some songs about the sun and the moon! Over our 75-minute workshop, we’ll work through four tunes you can add to your ‘ukulele songbook. There are some fun extra picking parts for those wanting a little more challenge, too.

As always, you’ll receive the PDF materials by email, along with your Zoom link, 24 hours before our session begins, plus immediately following our workshop you’ll get access to private audio play-along tracks to help you practise.
Level: confident beginner and up are welcome to join.
